Article on Disengagement and Employee Morale

The author illustrates a too often common dynamic with employers and employees through a scene from the movie "Casino". Even during tough economic times, much can be done with open and honest communication to improve productivity, cost effectiveness and employee morale. I think everyone out there has had an experience with a bad (or poorly trained) manager. Demeaning and disrepectful behavior exchanged from a manager to subordinate can have a costly impact, as demonstrated in this article.
