We are looking for mid -to senior -level software developers/architects with Object Oriented analysis and design experience. We want to speak with candidates that are interested in helping clients build scalable and flexible solutions from the ground up. Individuals will be responsible for working with large government/private clients as a part of the AIS team working within the Baltimore/Washington corridor.
Key Success/Profile Indicators:
Serve as a professional software developer at our client sites.
Write, unit test and document application .NET code following project design and architecture.
Write SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
Design application subsystems.
Assist in driving application architecture.
Mentor developers.
Design new functionality.
Unit test code using NUnit and other tools.
Assist client with scalability, performance and reliability enhancements.
Required Skills:
Solid background in object-oriented techniques and technologies.
Strong problem solving skills.
Minimum of three years experience with C#, C++, Java, Visual Basic or comparable languages.
Proven .NET application development experience from the ground up.
Proven ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures, views and ability to create and otherwise work with Microsoft SQL Server.
Ability to convey design using modeling languages such as UML.
Ability to apply common design patterns.
Strong ASP.NET skills 3+ years of progressive experience.
Core .NET skills 3+ years.
XML manipulation.
SQL Server 2005 query and stored procedure programming (SQL Server 2000 experience accepted).
Excellent English oral and written skills.
Excellent debugging and analysis skills.
Experience creating design documentation.
A creative mind, able to come up with solutions to various technical and business problems.
2 or more MCP certifications.
Desired Skills:
Experience with SCRUM or other Agile Processes.
Ability to pass a government clearance process. Holding an existing clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
MCSD/MCPD/MCAD a plus.
Experience with Test Driven Development a plus.
Any experience with InfoPath, Sharepoint (MOSS 2007), Biztalk (2004 or 2006), K2.NET, .NET 2.0 framework, Commerce Server, Silverlight, AJAX and any type of Workflow development (WWF, WCF, etc.) is a plus as these are some other technologies we regularly work with on projects.
